Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Kuwait Q3 2021

Analyzing the performance of the top 5 travel and local apps on a unified platform in Kuwait during Q3 2021 reveals interesting trends in downloads and active users, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

Wego - Flights, Hotels, Travel saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.3K in late June and peaking at 4.7K in early September. Active users also showed a positive trend, rising from approximately 21.3K at the beginning of the quarter to 25.5K in mid-September before settling at 22.2K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads at the beginning of July, reaching 11.2K, but then stabilized to about 1.8K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 28.3K in mid-July and then gradually declining to around 9.3K by the end of the quarter.

Hogozat showed fluctuating download numbers, starting at 865 in late June and reaching a high of 2.6K in late July. The trend then varied, ending the quarter with around 1.3K downloads.

DGCA Kuwait had a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at 2.6K in late July but then fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending with 945 downloads in the last week of September.

Rehlat - Cheap Flights, Hotels showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 1.2K in late June and peaking at 2.2K in late August. Active users also increased, starting at 1.7K and peaking at 2.5K by the end of August, before slightly decreasing to 1.8K by the end of the quarter.
